Houston’s Harris County DA Seeks Death Penalty in Disturbing Murder of 12-Year-Old Jocelyn Nungaray

Harris County District Attorney Kim Ogg has announced the decision to seek the death penalty for two individuals charged in the murder of 12-year-old Jocelyn Nungaray. This follows her death on June 16, as reported by Click2Houston. The suspects, Johan Jose Martinez-Rangel, 22, and Franklin Pena, 26, both Venezuelan nationals, face multiple charges, including abduction, assault, and murder. Her body was discovered in shallow waters under a bridge in Houston’s Greenspoint area.
