Plantation Police are intensifying their efforts to locate 65-year-old Leon Dunne, who has been missing since last Wednesday. Dunne was last seen at the Substance Abuse Treatment Center in Plantation, according to officials. A missing persons report for Dunne was filed on Thursday, as reported by WSVN.
Dunne, who left the treatment facility on foot, is described as 6 feet tall, weighing approximately 135 pounds with brown eyes and grey hair. At the time of his disappearance, he was reportedly wearing blue jeans, a blue long-sleeve shirt, a multi-colored vest, black sneakers, and a white ball cap. According to Local 10, Plantation police have expressed concern for Dunne’s well-being citing his “possible altered mental status and the absence of his prescribed medications.”
