It’s almost odd to see the amount of snow that fell in Colorado last week in November. Colorado doesn’t usually see this much snow this early in the season on the Front Range, yet parts of Colorado saw nearly two feet of snow.

Northern Colorado was spared from large amounts of accumulating snow as the storm tracked further to the southern part of the state. Denver International Airport saw the most accumulating snow last week with 20 inches. The Denver Metro Area had snowfall in the range of 8 to 16 inches, and the town of Limon got nearly three feet of snow at an accumulation of 35.5 inches according to the Coloradoan.

This Colorado Location Got the Most Snow in 72 Hours

Denver 7 reported that the location in Colorado that saw the most snow was in San Isabel, Colorado with 54.9 inches. That’s just over four and a half feet of snow in three days.

The snowstorm last week dumped so much snow, it could be seen in the dead of the night from space. The Cooperative Institute for Research in the Atmosphere posted a photo on Facebook showing the entirety of the state of Colorado at night. This photo shows all of the cities and towns in Colorado lit up in every direction. The moonlight cast a glow on the snow on the ground on the Front Range and the eastern plains of Colorado that you could see, clear as day. Take a look at the photo and you may be amazed at how much snow Colorado got last week…
