WHEAT RIDGE, Colo. (KKTV) – Lucky for one Colorado family, firefighters were in the right place at the right time!
West Metro Engine 1 was wrapping up a call in Wheat Ridge Monday morning when the crew spotted smoke coming from three blocks away. When firefighters went to check it out, they discovered a detached garage engulfed in flames. The family in the nearby house had no idea there was a fire.
Crews were able to quickly knock down the fire before it could spread to the home. No one was injured…
