MANCHESTER, N.H. — People in New Hampshire leading a new effort to restore faith in the American electoral process will be watching closely in November to push back on unsubstantiated claims of “stolen elections.”

When they were running for office, former U.S. Sen. John E. Sununu, R, and former U.S. Rep. Dick Swett, D, didn’t agree on much.

But now, they’re teaming up on the Democracy Defense Project, an organization launched earlier this year that is working to uphold the security and validity of the nation’s electoral system…
