MANCHESTER, N.H. — Learning to drive and getting behind the wheel of a car alone can be so freeing, and New Hampshire’s education department is hoping to streamline how Granite Staters with disabilities can gain that independence.

“It gives you freedom that you would not have had otherwise,” Adam Villenueve, a vocational rehabilitation client, said.
