A new city park, an indoor rec center with multiple amenities and a new fire station are just a few of the projects the City of Ames is considering as it looks toward the future.
Roughly $458.3 million in expenditures are outlined in the city’s initial Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) proposal, with spending projected over the next five years. The plan includes improvements to public safety, utilities, transportation and recreation.
