Two suspects, brothers Jonathan Jesus Aguilar, 19, and Carlos Jose Aguilar, 25, have been taken into custody following their connection with the August 17 shooting that injured three men at 1701 Fulton Street The incident, which unfolded around 1 a.m., led to the suspects being charged with three counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, according to a recent update from cityofhouston.news.

The Aguilar brothers were apprehended and subsequently jailed on Tuesday, with HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Detectives A. Garcia and V. Jones spearheading the investigation that identified the brothers as suspects, the incident initially had officers responding to the scene after a reported altercation, it seems the suspect later returned to the location and proceeded to shoot the victims who were outside, according to the cityofhouston.news.
