We are gathered here in the comforting embrace of the Lord to honor the life and legacy of a man who was a beacon of love and strength in our community, Bobby Earl Walker. Born on the 31st of July, 1968, in Dothan, Alabama, Bobby was a lifelong resident of this fine town, and it is with heavy hearts that we announce his passing on the 25th of January, 2025, surrounded by his loving family in the very place he called home.
Bobby Earl Walker, a man of faith and family, was called to his eternal rest at the age of 56. He was preceded in death by his parents, Early Lee Sanders and Betty Jean Walker, his sister, Deloris Walker, and his brothers, Darren Maurice Walker and Charles Sanders. His life was also touched by the untimely passing of his twin grandchildren, Dominic Walker and Ameera Walker.
The love of Bobby’s life, Durene Walker, stood by his side for 36 years of marriage, during which they raised two wonderful daughters, Belinda Walker and Penny Walker. His legacy continues through his grandchildren, Jeremiah McNealy, Allysia Meads, Katherine Meads, Elijah McNealy, Arabella Cooper, and Tyson Walker, all of whom brought immense joy to his life…
