A historic house and landmark in Cobb County is on sale for $1, but there’s a catch.
The historic McAfee House on Bells Ferry Road and Ernest W. Barrett Parkway is for sale by its owner, and for now being transferred to Cobb Landmarks in a move to preserve it.
The home was built in 1864, according to Cobb Landmarks, and they want to find a buyer who will restore the house, but in order to get it for that single dollar sale, potential buyers have to be willing to both restore it, and relocate it…
