What did LA Rams coach, All-Pro teammates say about Exeter’s Long after win over Patriots?

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – For the third time in his four-year NFL career, Hunter Long , a 2016 graduate of Exeter High School, found himself playing at Gillette Stadium – just 90 miles south of his hometown.

And for the second time, Long and his team secured a win against the New England Patriots as the Los Angeles Rams hung on for a 28-22 win before a capacity crowd of 64,628. It was the fourth win in five games for the Rams, who are 5-5 overall and in a three-way tie for second with Seattle and San Francisco in the NFC West; all trailing Arizona by a game.

“I’ve played here a couple of times, but it’s surreal every time,” said Long inside the victorious Rams’ locker room before the team’s cross-country trip back to southern California. “I’ve got a caravan of people who come out every time, which is always awesome. A lot of them can’t make it to most games, and to have them here is special.”…
