The Tampa Bay Buccaneers offense dominated the Philadelphia Eagles defense in all aspects of their 33-16 win Sunday, but especially in the passing game.
The win for Tampa Bay moved them to 3-1 with sole possession of first place in the NFC South, and the Bucs receiving group had a great bounce-back performance.
It starts at the top of the chain with the team’s best receiver, Mike Evans. Evans had looked a little bit lethargic last week, but quarterback Baker Mayfield wasted no time getting Evans targets and easy receptions, including a 2-yard touchdown. Evans was Mayfield’s most-targeted receiver as he brought in eight catches for 94 yards.
Receiver Chris Godwin has also been excellent to start the year, and his dominance continued on Sunday with six catches for 69 yards. Godwin has been good on short passes from Mayfield and he’s able to extend plays with yards after catch…
