According to the National Weather Service in Duluth, snowfall totals could reach up to 6 inches in some areas, with strong northwest winds gusting between 20-30 mph creating whiteout conditions. Temperatures are forecast to plunge to -20°F Thursday night, with wind chills as low as -40°F, increasing the risk of frostbite in minutes. A Cold Weather Advisory is in effect through Thursday night.
