Bill Belichick and North Carolina made it official on Thursday. The Tar Heels’ new head football coach finally signed his contract , putting the UNC fanbase at ease a little bit.
Now, fans can start preparing for life with Belichick roaming the college sidelines, decked out in Carolina baby blue. At least now everyone knows when they can expect to see Belichick make his debut, as also released on Thursday was the first part of North Carolina football’s schedule. And let’s just say, Chapel Hill might be a little bit busier on Labor Day weekend this year.
The Tar Heels will host the Big 12’s TCU in Week 1 of college football, Sept. 1 on Labor Day night at 7:30 p.m. EST at Kenan Stadium. That means Belichick is getting the Monday night football treatment , even at the college level.
