RALEIGH, N.C. (WBTV) – North Carolina Gov. Roy Cooper and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) held a briefing in Raleigh Wednesday afternoon to update the public on the state’s status regarding Hurricane Helene’s recovery.

The press conference began just after 2:30 p.m. on Oct. 9. Cooper spoke alongside:
