Anderson School District 4 makes progress on new high school

ANDERSON COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA) – Anderson School District Four is making progress on building their new Pendleton High School.

Leaders said this new high school is a part of their “Growing4ward” plan. As the area continues to grow the district said it’s no surprise the need for more classrooms has reached an all-time high. In fact, leaders said it’s up three percent from previous years.

“Which you don’t think is that much, but when you’ve got 300, 400 new students over the course of three or four years, that is a large amount for our small school district,” said Dee Christopher, Anderson School District Four Superintendent.
