Clemson football coach Dabo Swinney will apparently have to wait until Friday to have his vote counted in the 2024 presidential election.
According to Swinney, a balloting mix-up with his legal name and his son’s — both named William Swinney — prevented the Clemson coach from voting on Tuesday. However, he at least had a good sense of humor about it when talking with reporters after the snafu.
“They done voted me out the state,” Dabo Swinney joked while referencing Clemson’s 33-21 home loss to Louisville on Saturday being the reason why he couldn’t vote the first time…
