With Labor Day weekend approaching, the MTA is advising riders of planned service changes throughout the subway system this week.
Starting on Monday , Aug. 26, overnight 2 train service will be suspended between the Third Avenue-149th Street stop in the Bronx and the 135th Street in Manhattan, from 9:30 p.m. to 5 a.m. daily through Friday. Free shuttle buses will be available as the MTA works to replace tracks.
Also overnight from Monday through Friday to accommodate track work, New Lots Avenue-bound 4 trains will run express from the Atlantic Avenue-Barclays Center station to the Crown Heights-Utica Avenue station, stopping only at Franklin Avenue.
