Take care of your fur babies! Hazlet Township to Host Free Rabies Clinic for Dogs and Cats.

Hazlet, NJ – Hazlet Township will be offering a free Rabies Vaccination Clinic for dogs and cats on Saturday, October 5, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Department of Public Works building, located at 39 Leocadia Court, off Laurel Avenue. This event is open to all Monmouth County residents and will be held rain or shine.

To ensure your pet’s license renewal in January 2025, the rabies vaccination must be valid through October 31, 2025. Residents are encouraged to bring their pets on a leash or in a carrier for safety. For deceased pets or those no longer living at your residence, residents are asked to inform the township’s Health Services so that records can be updated accordingly.

As a special gesture, Hazlet Clean Communities will be distributing complimentary dog waste bag holders shaped like a little plastic fire hydrant, which includes a roll of bags inside, while supplies last…
