HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — In light of the tragic events in New Orleans and Las Vegas, the state is putting out a reminder to report any suspicious activity immediately.
“They’re in their neighborhoods, they know what’s going on, they know that something may seem out of place or out of the ordinary,” said Bill Turner, the state emergency management director.

Using the CT Safe app, you can report what you’re seeing and where it’s happening. You can also attach photos and include details about the incident. All reports can remain anonymous.
“Maybe somebody’s taking pictures of critical infrastructure, or there’s a suspicious vehicle but doesn’t really rise to the level that it’s an immediate threat, that’s when we’re encouraging the public to use the CT Safe App,” Turner said…
