EAST ALLEN TWP., Pa.- Keystone Cement wants to start using rail cars in addition to tanker trucks when it comes to transporting hazardous waste through the region.
A public hearing on the company’s hazardous waste permit renewal is scheduled for Monday, October 28, from 6:00-9:30 p.m. at Nitschmann Middle School at 1002 W. Union Boulevard in Bethlehem. The hearing was scheduled by the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (DEP).
