SANTA ANA – Five men pleaded guilty Friday in connection with a smash-and-grab robbery of a jewelry store in Tustin.
Gregory Edison, 27, pleaded guilty to two counts of robbery, a count of attempted robbery and five counts of assault with a firearm with sentencing enhancements for being armed with a gun in the commission of a felony. Edison was sentenced to 12 years in prison and given credit for 824 days in jail, according to court records.
Co-defendant Cameron Ajaie Smith, 30, pleaded guilty to the same charges as Edison and was sentenced to 19 years in prison.
