A man is dead after he was shot by a Los Angeles County Sheriff’s deputy at a convenience store early Tuesday morning.
Deputies from the East L.A. station were dispatched to a 7-Eleven located on the 6500 block of Olympic Boulevard at around 1 a.m. following a report of a man armed with a gun, according to an LASD report.
Upon arrival, the man produced a handgun and at least one deputy opened fire and struck the man, a spokesperson for the Sheriff’s Department said. The man was transported to a local hospital where he was later pronounced dead, the spokesperson said…
