El Paso teen will earn the highest rank in the Boy Scouts of America Program

EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) — The prestigious Eagle Scout Badge is only given to about 2% of young men. After meeting a list of requirements the teens must complete an Eagle Project.

Paul Cyr chose to renovate the Kelly Center for Hunger relief. Through donations and selling homemade cookies, Cyr raised $750. Cyr says the paint, which was the most expensive part of the project was a donation from Saint Clement’s Church.

“One of the requirements for the Eagle Scout project is it needs to be lasting. So when you come back 10 years from now, 20 years, you want the project still to be there,” Cyr said…
