Four-star big man Jayden Leverett commits to Vanderbilt

Mark Byington has added his second commitment to his 2025 recruiting class and once again, this pledge reigns from the Lone Star State. This afternoon, Jayden Leverett, the No. 140 overall recruit in the senior class, has committed to Vanderbilt.

“I liked the constant communication between me and the coach,” Leverett said on his commitment. “They always came down to see me practice. They have a new coaching staff. I liked the coaches there and their style of play.”

A 6-foot-10 big man out of El Paso (Texas) Chapin, Leverett chose the Commodores out of a final four list that also included Colorado, New Mexico, and Oklahoma State. The location of the university and the school’s reputation as a premier academic instution also separated Vanderbilt from the rest of the programs in the mix…
