MOUNT WASHINGTON — A lot of local foot traffic braved the road traffic to walk through state plans for alleviating city traffic.
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet hosted a public meeting at Mount Washington Elementary School, sharing and discussing various plans to alleviate the city’s traffic congestion.
Specifically, three KYTC plans were shared that were designed by engineers to improve traffic congestion along Highway 44 East between Highway 31 East and Water Street, including the main downtown intersection at Old Bardstown Road.`…
