ELMIRA, N.Y. (WETM) – The rain on the radar is waning tonight. Showers will pass through the Twin Tiers as a warm front comes by this evening right behind the rain. After that we are looking at a brief brush with high pressure before the next wave of precipitation comes through by the end of the day on Thursday.
Warmer and dryer high pressure pops the temperatures up to near record highs Wednesday and Thursday. Unfortunately Trick-or-Treat night may have a few showers in the candy bowls. A showery cold front Thursday night will cool things back down closer to average for the first few days of November. And these temperatures and overall conditions will bleed into Election Day next Tuesday.
Tonight, showers part as do the clouds overnight. Temperatures in the 40s. More sun and warm Wednesday and in the upper-70s…
