ELMIRA, N.Y. (WETM) – Just as we have talking about over the last few days, there is gradual clearing set to take place later on tonight and definitely into tomorrow.
High pressure moves on in and that means warmer conditions will flow in and then stay here for the next several days. A few of the models have tried to bring in some late weekend early workweek rain. However, at this point, it’s looking like late Tuesday or Wednesday will be our best chance for new precipitation.
With that said, make sure for all of the late summer festivals and events going on over the next few days, that you have your sunscreen at the ready. You might be able to find some shade with passing clouds, but better safe than sunburned and sorry later…
