CORNING, N.Y. ( WETM ) – A few streets in Corning will be closed during the first week of October to accommodate a paving project.
The City of Corning Department of Public Works has announced that from Monday, Sept. 30, through Friday, Oct. 4, drivers will not be able to park in the lots along Tioga Ave. between Wall Street and Chemung Street (lot #11 and lot #6) while paving is taking place.

In addition, from Monday, Sept. 30, through Thursday, Oct. 3, Tioga Ave. from Cedar Street to Pearl Street will be closed to traffic and no parking will be allowed from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m.
