Albany, NY — Governor Kathy Hochul announced a new state initiative, the Block-By-Block program, which will allocate $40 million to support the construction of affordable homes in five Upstate New York cities. The program aims to revitalize neighborhoods and improve housing affordability by providing up to $400,000 per project for infill housing in Albany, Binghamton, Buffalo, Rochester, and Syracuse.
