Now, as the cold settles in, it’s an important time for drivers to get their cars ready for the winter season to help avoid any costly breaks or repairs in the future. Pedro Centeno, owner of Peter’s Auto Repair in Holyoke, encouraged drivers to get their cars in now, rather than later. “Winter’s here, so get your cars ready,” Centeno said. “As you can see, we are booked. We’re actually booking right now until the end of this month, so everybody wants to get in. Don’t wait until this time. Get your cars ready before winter comes.”
While Centeno and his crew do the best they can to make sure everyone who comes in will get services, he told us that, sometimes, just sticking to the basics can go a long way. “So make sure your battery is good, make sure your oil, make sure your wipers, windshield wipers, all that and your tire pressure. You need good tire pressure in your cars,” Centeno added…
