VENICE — The Venice Area Garden Club will hold its first meeting of the season at 9:30 a.m. Oct. 3 in Naal Hall at United Church of Christ, 620 Shamrock Blvd.
The meeting is free, and the public is encouraged to attend.
It will have a “Mad Hatter Tea Party” theme in which club members will plant succulents or create floral arrangements in a mug or teacup that they bring. Those “Cups of Cheer” will then be delivered to a local assisted living facility…
