The Sarasota Bradenton International Airport began a new route this week, from its record-breaking roster of new flights .
Frontier Airlines launched nonstop service from SRQ to the Chicago O’Hare International Airport on Wednesday. It’s part of 19 new flights SRQ announced this year that will bring the airport’s nonstop flight total to 67 routes by next spring.
The Chicago service will fly three times a week, and tickets start at $29 if purchased before Jan. 11, 2025. The promotion is valid for flights from Jan. 6, 2025, to April 17, 2025, except for select blackout dates: Feb. 14, 16-17, 2025; Mar. 7-9, 14-16, 21-23, 28-30, 2025; Apr. 4-6, 11-13, 2025…
