What does Venice plan for its new airport terminal building?

VENICE – The city of Venice will host a virtual neighborhood workshop at 5 p.m. on Jan. 9, 2025, to discuss the construction of the new terminal building at Venice Municipal Airport.

The proposed $6 million structure at 150 Airport Ave E., would replace the current terminal, which was built in 1989.

The plan calls for the construction of a two-story, 8,670-square-foot facility, with 5,000 square feet of common use area, conference rooms, a pilot flight planning area and office space…
