On December 22, 2024 Midland City Police Department investigated an alleged sexual assault involving a juvenile. Thanks to the quick response of the Midland City Police Department. “LAMARTAE BLACK” 18 years old of Midland City Alabama was arrested and charged with sodomy 2nd degree. He was placed in the Dale County Jail and this is an ongoing investigation. A special thank you to the Department of Human Resources and the Southeast Alabama Child Advocacy Center.
