BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) – For most, the holiday season means spending time with loved ones, spreading joy, and reliving the magic of classic Christmas movies. But for a group of Alabama friends, it means taking that magic one step further — by recreating National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation in real life.
Led by Ross Cline, a retired military veteran, the group has turned their love for the iconic holiday film into a festive and heartwarming tradition.
“This was him. He thought it up. He come up with it. We’re all friends. He’s retired military, army guy. So when he calls you up he doesn’t ask you to do something, he tells you what you’re doing. And so we’re just going on what he’s told us we’re doing,” one of the friends said…
