CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) – Cleveland city officials say they’re on track to eliminating homelessness by this winter. The city has already found housing for dozens of people who had been living on the streets.
Mayor Justin Bibb’s initiative is called “a Home for Every Neighbor”. When the program began earlier this year there were 150 people who desperately needed shelter. Now that number has dropped ― but there’s still plenty out there who need help.
