A federal indictment unsealed this week reveals a major methamphetamine operation busted in Walton County, Georgia. Twelve individuals are now facing charges related to the production and trafficking of methamphetamine.
On August 13th, 2024, a joint operation involving multiple law enforcement agencies executed a search warrant at a property on Mountain Creek Church Road in Monroe, Georgia. Agents seized a staggering amount of methamphetamine, including:
- Over 4 kilograms of finished crystal methamphetamine
- 22 gallons of liquid methamphetamine (equivalent to approximately 377 kilograms of crystal meth)
- $5,401 in cash
Additional searches were conducted on two vehicles, resulting in the seizure of more methamphetamine and cash. In total, law enforcement confiscated over 9 kilograms of finished methamphetamine and enough liquid methamphetamine to produce hundreds of kilograms more.
The twelve defendants face a range of charges, including conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute methamphetamine and possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine. If convicted, they could face sentences ranging from 20 years to life in prison…
