HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) – CenterPoint officials now say they expect all power to be restored to customers by the end of the day on Thursday, 24 hours ahead of the original prediction.
Over 1,000 crews, contractors and mutual assistance workers are continuing to work around the clock to repair widespread damage caused by severe winter weather earlier this week. More than 10,000 customers had their power restored on Thursday, despite icy conditions continuing in the Evansville area.
A release from CenterPoint says more than 90% of customers impacted by the storm have had their power fully restored.
How many are still without power?
