Girl Scouts visit Evansville ice cream shop before Thin Mint flavor debuts

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) – A full circle moment took place for one Evansville family at Lic’s Deli and Ice Cream.

“75 years, we’ve been making ice cream in downtown Evansville,” said Lic’s part-owner, Kara Combs. “In 2009, Dairy Queen had released a thin mint blizzard and my stepmom wouldn’t let me get one because it wasn’t bought from actual girl scouts.”
