CHICAGO – A police chase that began in Indiana ended in Chicago on Tuesday with the arrest of a 26-year-old Illinois man who allegedly fled from officers with a 4-year-old child inside his vehicle.
The incident began just after 5 p.m. when Highland police tried pulling over a black BMW in Hammond as part of a joint law enforcement operation. The driver, however, refused to stop.
The suspect fled on Torrence Avenue before entering I-94 westbound into Illinois, eventually reaching Chicago.…
