The guys from Dawgman.com – Kim Grinolds, Chris Fetters, and Scott Eklund – wax lyrical over Washington’s 31-19 win over the UCLA Bruins, a win that put the Huskies at 6-5 on the season and secure in the knowledge that they’ll be bowling come December.
The guys talk first about Washington’s defense, and specifically the ability of UW’s front 7 to shut down UCLA’s run game and force Ethan Garbers on the run all night long. They held the Bruins to 52 yards on 33 carries, and it was mainly due to the work of defensive tackles like Sebastian Valdez, as well as edge players like Russell Davis II.
