PULLMAN – A stabbing occurred early Monday morning, January 20th, at Washington State University’s Orton Hall, located at the 1400 block of SE Olympia Ave. Officers from the WSU Police Department responded to the incident at 1:18 a.m.
Upon arrival, law enforcement found a 20-year-old male with a knife wound to his left arm. The victim, a resident of Shoreline, WA, was transported to Pullman Regional Hospital but refused treatment and was subsequently released.
The investigation determined that Tatiana Martinez, a 20-year-old WSU student and resident of Orton Hall, was responsible for the assault. Martinez was arrested and booked into Whitman County Jail on charges of Assault in the Second Degree. The suspected weapon was recovered at the scene…
