‘A day of suffering.’ Prayer vigil being held at St. John the Baptist HS for teens involved in West Babylon car crash

A prayer vigil is being held at St. John the Baptist High School for the teenagers involved in a West Babylon car crash over the weekend. Authorities said a Lindenhurst man ran a red light and crashed into the car carrying five teens. Riley Goot, 18, was killed, police said, and four others were injured, including Bella Trezza, who attends Saint John’s. Trezza is said to be fighting for her life. Father Matthew Browne told News 12 Monday was “a day of suffering” at Saint John’s.
