MAHOPAC, N.Y.—A group of kindergartners at Lakeview Elementary School in Mahopac showed their love of reading last month by stepping up in the annual “We are Readers” parade.
The students marched around their school with their favorite books in hand as music played over the school speakers. They were supported by older students, who lined the hallways to cheer them on.
