A Milford man re-sentenced to seven years in prison on multiple counts was among five people sentenced in Highland County Common Pleas Court.
Robert Jackson, 59, was re-sentenced to seven years in prison following an appeal on one count of felonious assault, a second-degree felony, with another count of abduction merged with the first count of felonious assault. Jackson was given 65 days of jail time credit as of May 4, 2023.
According to court documents for both counts, on or around Feb. 28, 2023, a deputy responded to an address on Dawson Road after they were advised of an active domestic dispute by dispatch. Dispatch told the deputy that there was an open line 911 call where someone was screaming for help while saying that they were bleeding and their arm was broken.
