ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – Gov. Brian Kemp declared a statewide State of Emergency through Jan. 28 for the approaching winter storm.
The State of Emergency authorizes the Georgia Emergency Management Agency and Homeland Security Agency (GEMA/HS) to activate the State Operations Center and mobilize resources across the state.
