RALEIGH, N.C. — Two North Carolina State Highway Patrol troopers have been dismissed and are under review after questions have been raised about their credibility, CBS 17 in Raleigh reported Saturday morning.
In addition, approximately 180 traffic cases involving the two troopers have been dismissed. According to CBS 17, Wake County District Attorney Lorri Freeman said that the state would not move forward with nearly 180 cases involving Trooper Garrett Lee Macario and about a dozen cases involving his supervisor, Sergeant Matthew Lindly Morrison.
