WILMINGTON — Jimmy Ray Hall, originally from Fayetteville NC, passed away surrounded by his loved ones in Wilmington NC on Sunday, December 8th 2024 at the age of 58.
He was preceded in death by his infant son, Joshua Hall, mother, Linda Batton and father, Donnie Hall.
Jimmy was well known in the Fayetteville and Wilmington communities, especially in the automotive industry. If he wasn’t with his family, he always had his hands dirty working on cars. He was known for his spontaneous adventures with family- whether it was a road trip to The Great Smoky Mountains to stay at the family home in Cosby, Tennessee, hopping on a cruise ship, or taking cross-country trips to see the world. What he loved most was spending time with his two grandsons, who he loved so dearly and deeply. You would never see him without one or the other, whether it was taking them fishing or going to McDonald’s every morning for breakfast. Jimmy was a family man and would do anything for anyone…
