You’ve undoubtedly seen the signs for Fife’s Poodle Dog that read “Good Food, Pup Room.” When someone says, “Meet me at Poodle Dog,” you know what they mean.
“At one time, there was a huge building behind us that hosted dance-offs with (artists) like the Glenn Miller Band,” general manager Charles Amner said. “They hosted these elaborate parties in the ’40s and ’50s in our banquet room.
